Welcome to the home of the
Powerhouse Band and Tribute Shows
The band, based in Hamilton, Canada, has performed well over 1,000 shows in Canada, the U.S. and Europe in its 25-year history.  There are currently four complete shows in the Powerhouse repertoire: the band's original Blues Bros./Motown/Soul Revue, and three full tribute shows -- one each of the band Chicago, Rod Stewart and Ray Charles -- the latter two with two of the best tribute artists in the business today.  Comprehensive info on each of these shows can be found by clicking on any of the four logos to the left.

Yes, last year was a difficult year for the band.  We lost our friend and founding guitarist Phil Kott to lung cancer (click on photo, top left) and our drummer, Steve Negus moved on to projects of his own.  But, as the band has done many times before, it’s regrouped, recruited some excellent local musicians in Mark (the Chief) LaForme on guitar and Danny Lockwood on drums and is ready to move on to its 28th year in the business.

Spring and summer shows for Powerhouse, Chicago Transit and our Ray Charles and Rod Stewart tribute acts are being confirmed at this time.  We will post our 2012 calendar soon.  In the meantime, please do get out there and support live music in your area, whatever your favourite bands might be.
